We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Director of Security to oversee operations and lead a high-performing security team at a luxury residential property. Summary As the Director of Security at PSI Security & Investigations, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing all security operations and strategies to ensure the safety and protection of our clients’ assets. Leading a skilled team committed to excellence in security services, you will contribute to fostering a welcoming and secure environment at a luxury residential property that prides itself on delivering unparalleled service and upholding the highest security standards. Key Responsibilities Collaborating with property management and vendors, including valet, landscaping, maintenance, and engineering teams, to maintain a cohesive security strategy. Manage and mentor a team of approximately 25 security officers, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluations. Conducting regular foot patrols and inspections to ensure team compliance with security protocols. Overseeing all aspects of policy and procedure development, implementation, and enforcement. Identifying training needs, organizing sessions, and holding team members accountable to maintain high performance. Acting as a key liaison with residents, vendors, and the property manager to exceed client expectations. Continuously evaluating security risks and implementing proactive risk management strategies. Preparing and delivering clear, detailed reports to senior management on security operations and incidents. Required Qualifications To be successful in this role, candidates must meet the following criteria: Previous experience as a condominium security supervisor is a must. At least 15 years of experience in private security, including 10 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity. Strong office administration skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel. Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, in English. The ability to balance in-office administrative work with on-site patrol duties. Reliable transportation and flexibility to meet schedule demands. Clean background, including clearances for criminal, driving, and drug tests. Class D Security License Familiarity with security-related technologies and software. Knowledge of local regulations governing security operations in Florida. Exceptional leadership and team management. Outstanding time management and organizational abilities.
