Full Job Description Position Summary:

The Security Officer Account Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing all security operations at designated client accounts. This includes supervising security officers, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations, maintaining client satisfaction, handling scheduling and staffing, and implementing site-specific security protocols. The role requires leadership, customer service, and operational excellence to ensure a safe and secure environment for clients, employees, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:
Operational Oversight:

Manage day-to-day security operations at assigned client sites. Supervise and schedule security officers to ensure 24/7 coverage. Conduct site inspections and audits to ensure adherence to company and client standards. Monitor incident reports, investigations, and emergency responses. Ensure security personnel are trained, equipped, and prepared.

Client Relationship Management:

Serve as the primary point of contact for clients. Regularly meet with clients to review performance, address concerns, and maintain satisfaction. Ensure all contractual obligations are met or exceeded. Provide timely incident reports and operational updates to clients.

Staff Management:

Recruit, train, and manage security officers. Conduct performance evaluations, coaching, and disciplinary actions when necessary. Maintain accurate employee records including certifications and timekeeping. Foster a positive team environment that encourages accountability and professionalism.

Compliance and Risk Management:

Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal laws. Enforce company policies and procedures. Review and revise post orders and security procedures as needed. Coordinate with law enforcement and emergency personnel as necessary.

Administrative Duties:

Prepare and maintain schedules, payroll, and reports. Track budget and expenses related to site operations. Assist in preparing proposals, presentations, and operational plans.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Business Administration, or a related field preferred. Minimum 3-5 years of experience in security management, law enforcement, or military service. Prior experience managing teams and client relationships. Valid security officer license (where required by state law). Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Required Skills & Competencies:

Excellent leadership and team management abilities. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Crisis management and conflict resolution skills. Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed. Physical ability to conduct site walkthroughs, patrols, and respond to incidents.

Preferred Qualifications:

CPR/First Aid/AED certification. Prior experience working with contract security firms or managing multi-site operations. Knowledge of electronic security systems (CCTV, access control, etc.).

Work Environment:

Combination of office setting and on-site presence at client locations. May require prolonged standing and walking during site inspections. On-call availability for emergencies or critical incidents.
