The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing to prevent theft, fraud, and other losses within our retail stores in Florida. This role requires a strong understanding of loss prevention techniques, surveillance systems, and criminal investigation processes. The Asset Protection Manager will work closely with law enforcement and internal teams to ensure a safe and secure environment for both employees and customers. Responsibilities Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft and fraud. Oversee the installation and maintenance of CCTV and surveillance systems. Conduct regular audits of inventory and security measures. Collaborate with law enforcement agencies or HR on criminal investigations as needed. Train our retail management members on loss prevention policies, conflict management, and emergency response procedures. Prepare detailed reports on incidents, investigations, and loss prevention activities. Monitor store operations for compliance with safety regulations and company policies. Analyze data to identify trends in theft or loss incidents. Skills Proficiency in CCTV operation and surveillance techniques. Strong background in loss prevention methodologies. Previous experience in law enforcement or security management is preferred. Certification in loss prevention or related field is a plus. Excellent conflict management skills to handle difficult situations effectively. Knowledge of criminal investigation procedures and report writing. Strong analytical skills to assess risks and develop effective strategies. Ability to communicate clearly with team members, law enforcement, and other stakeholders.
