Security Manager The Ford Field & River Club Inc 48 Ford Way, Richmond Hill, GA 31324
Job Purpose:
Provides supervision in the Security Department of The Ford Field & River Club in the absence of the Director.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Completes work schedules and ensures personnel complete their assigned tasks. Responsible to the Director of Security for satisfactory performance and attendance of security personnel. Trains new Security staff to ensure they understand their job duties and responsibilities. Extracts data from “wand” report to ensure all patrol shifts are doing their property checks properly. Updates all pertinent Member information for 24-hour access in Security’s Microsoft Outlook Database. Updates all pertinent staff information for 24-hour access in Security’s Microsoft Outlook Database. Updates contractor information for 24 -hour access in Security’s Microsoft Outlook Database. Works Shifts when needed while personnel are on PTO. Programs vehicle barcodes daily for member, staff and contractor vehicles based on their access level in our Avigilon Gate Operating system. Researches data from Avigilon Gate System when requested by Security Director, Human Resources or the General Manager. Deletes Members, Staff and Contractors access when the need arises. (members, staff or contractors are terminated). Responsible for Automated External Defibrillator inspections across all locations on property. Schedules and verifies completion of required annual inspections of all Club Fire Alarm Systems. Schedules and verifies completion of required annual inspections of all Club Fire Extinguishers located on property. Ensures that all department personnel are properly attired in uniform and with equipment when reporting for work and that all personnel have a clean, well-groomed appearance. Inspects all department equipment to ensure cleanliness and serviceability. Reports to the Director of Security regarding the serviceability of such equipment. Briefs personnel on any special orders or changes to policies and procedures. Reviews incident reports submitted during shift. Prepares reports regarding any unsafe conditions on The Ford Field & River Club and conveys such to the Director of Security. Patrols the grounds of The Ford Field & River Club when not actively involved in supervisory duties. Reports any matters affecting morale of Security Department personnel to the Director of Security. Conducts the Club New Employee OSHA training, Blood Borne Pathogens training, Speed Limit and Horse Right of Way training and Annual OSHA Refresher Training for all employees. Ensures that all members, guests and co-workers are treated in a friendly and respectful manner in accordance with the standards of excellence of The Ford Field & River Club. Assists in other departments and performs additional related duties as required. Understands and follows policies and procedures of the department and The Ford Field & River Club overall.
Qualifications and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to direct the work of subordinate employees engaged in various aspects of fire, safety and security operations 24/7. Ability to work with a variety of skilled, unskilled and professional personnel. Must be able to effectively coach and motivate personnel; must be extremely fair, courteous, patient, and tactful. General knowledge of office administration, budgeting, housekeeping, repair and maintenance of equipment, fire, safety and security matters. Valid driver’s license required with acceptable driver history.
Working Conditions:
Works inside and outside in the normal course of the workday.
Physical Requirements:
Standing, stooping, bending, pushing and pulling, lifting 50 pounds occasionally. Vision must be correctable to read and write. Hearing must be sufficient to understand conversation on the telephone in a noisy environment. Must have hand usage to complete forms, use keyboard and mouse and other office equipment. Must be able to work irregular hours to include nights, weekends and holidays.
