Director of Security Mall St. Vincent 1133 St. Vincent Avenue, Shreveport, LA 71104 Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Security to lead our security operations and ensure the safety and protection of our facilities, assets, and personnel. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in law enforcement or military service, with a proven track record in conflict management, surveillance, and loss prevention. This role requires a strategic thinker who can develop and implement effective security policies and procedures while fostering a culture of safety within the organization. Responsibilities Develop and oversee comprehensive security strategies to protect company assets and personnel. Manage security personnel, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluations. Conduct regular risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and implement corrective measures. Coordinate with local law enforcement agencies for emergency response planning and incident management. Lead investigations into security incidents, documenting findings and implementing preventative measures. Provide first aid and CPR training to security staff as needed. Experience Proven experience in a leadership role within security management, law enforcement, or military service. Strong skills in conflict management and resolution. Experience in loss prevention strategies and practices. Certification in First Aid and CPR is preferred. Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with diverse groups.
