SECURITY MANAGER Position Available In Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Job Description:

•We are seeking a Site Manager in the Philadelphia, PA area,contingent upon award. The Site Manager for security is responsiblefor overall management of the CAS operation at the contract sitelevel. This includes leadership and administrative functions andthe supervision of personnel performing contract-specific securityoperations possibly including security related responsibilities forwarehouse, aircraft, catering, ramp and pre-board screening. TheSite Manager fulfills customer-focused security responsibilitieswhile adhering to Post Order requirements, Client rules andprocedures, and company policies that will protect and serve thecargo customers by preventing any deadly or dangerous objects frombeing transported onto an aircraft.

Operational Functions:

Responsible for overall management at the site level. Responsiblefor supervising personnel and completion of all security tasks.

Responsible for performing routine checks of all on duty securitypersonnel to ensure compliance to Post Orders and operatingprocedures, Client rules and regulations, and company policies.

Inspect, observe and evaluate security officer’s work activities tomonitor and assess individual’s quality of work and overallperformance. Conduct required assessments and tests. Check allassigned security areas and equipment to ensure safety,cleanliness, and full working order. Implement corrections orreport deficiencies to site management as necessary. Respond toreported incidents, emergencies, operational issues and inquiries,and any other situations not adequately addressed in Post Orders asthey arise and ensure proper resolution. Coach and mentor securityworkforce in regards to Post Orders, Client rules and regulations,and company policy compliance. Perform training instruction asassigned.

Administrative Functions:

Ensure timely and completepreparation and submission of all required operational andadministrative documentation. Maintain knowledge and capabilitiesfor all security equipment and performance of all screening/guardduties. Responsible for scheduling and adjusting as neededappropriate number of screener and, as contract-directed, guardpersonnel to provide for efficient and effective security of cargo,screening areas and related aircraft. Maintain communication withCAS and site Client management. Coordinate assistance from theDirector of Operations to solve special situations. MinimumQualifications High School Degree or GED required. Bachelor degreeor higher preferred. Must be at least 18 years old. Demonstratedknowledge and/or aptitude to learn security-related functions.

Preferred at least five (5) years of responsible experience insecurity management, military, aviation or law enforcementoperations. Previous management experience required. Must bewilling to submit to and pass a random drug screen and backgroundcheck. Must be neat, well-groomed and present a professionalappearance. Must be available to work various shifts, weekends, andholidays.
