3 Nashville, TN Job Details Full-time $57,958.26 a year 23 hours ago Benefits Paid holidays Qualifications Management Mid-level Administrative experience Driver’s License Bachelor’s degree Budgeting 1 year Full Job Description Position Description The Security Lead Officer (ASO3) coordinates and leads daily security operations across the Nashville Youth Campus for Empowerment (NYCE), ensuring the safety and security of all courtrooms, youth pre-trial housing (detention) facilities, assessment centers, and service buildings. This position provides operational oversight, administrative support, and leadership to the security team, with responsibilities including the implementation of security policies and protocols, management of compliance initiatives, and coordination of campus safety programs. Davidson County Juvenile Court’s mission is to prevent problems, promote the positive potential in all people, and pursue fairness and hope. Typical Duties Coordinates and leads day-to-day security operations across all NYCE facilities, including courtrooms, youth pre-trial housing, and service buildings. Supervises and provides guidance to security officers, including scheduling, training, and performance monitoring. Oversees access control systems and monitor facility entry/exit points to ensure proper security measures are in place. Supports the Deputy Court Administrator for Campus Security in implementing campus-wide security protocols, emergency preparedness, and risk mitigation strategies. Assists in the investigation of security incidents, prepare incident reports, and recommend corrective actions. Collaborates with law enforcement agencies, security consultants, and community partners to maintain a safe environment for employees, visitors, and residents. Participates in the development and delivery of safety education and training programs for staff. Maintains accurate records of security activities, equipment inventories, and personnel assignments. Assists with the preparation of administrative and operational reports, including recommendations for improvements to security procedures and resource allocation. Participates in budget planning and procurement of security-related equipment and supplies. Ensures compliance with Metro Government Safety Guidelines and relevant laws and regulations. Drafts, distributes, and implements operational procedures for the security team. Serves as a resource for staff regarding security policies, protocols, and best practices. Minimum Qualifications

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s Degree plus one (1) year experience in an administrative or technical field.

  • Additional experience may be considered in lieu of education. (1:1 Ratio)

LICENSE REQUIRED

Valid Driver License Candidates with accreditations earned in a foreign institute are encouraged to apply.
