Armed Campus Security Officer 2nd and 3rd Shifts Security Engineers, Inc – 3.2 Birmingham, AL Job Details Part-time | Full-time $15 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Firearms License High school diploma or GED Entry level Full Job Description Armed Campus Security Officer 2nd and 3rd Shifts Armed Campus Security Officers 3rd Shift Part-time Saturday and Sunday(7pm-7am) or 2nd Shift Full Time Monday-Friday (3pm-11pm) Must be 21 years of age or older. Armed security officer (must pass Armed training, have valid pistol permit). Ability to work Weekends (Saturday and Sunday). Must be willing to participate in non-lethal weapons certification. A curious nature that helps you to remain aware of the activities around you. The ability to remain calm, solve problems, and act effectively in a critical situation. Ability to perform a periodic walking patrol throughout facilities. Conduct regular walking patrols of assigned areas to identify and report any identified security and safety concerns. Monitor facility access points, employing verification procedures to authenticate the identification and credentials of individuals entering or exiting premises, in support of a secure environment. Respond quickly and effectively to alarms, emergencies, and incidents following established procedures. Maintain precise and detailed logs documenting activities, incidents, and notable observations, facilitating comprehensive reporting and analysis for enhanced security measures.
