As a Security Officer – Hospital Patrol in Birmingham, AL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more . As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a visible presence. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, assisting with access control, and providing outstanding customer service and communication to staff, patients, and visitors. You will be part of a team that values agility, reliability, and innovation, always putting people first and acting with integrity. This role does not require driving or carrying a weapon.

PM Responsibilities:
Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
Observe and report any unusual activity or potential hazards within the location to the appropriate personnel.
Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying identification, and helping to maintain a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors.
Support emergency response efforts by following established protocols and assisting first responders as needed.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and observations as required by site policies.
Minimum Requirements:
Possession of a valid Guard Card or license is preferred.
Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Alabama Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or have 5 years of verifiable experience.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
