Southern Jamm Security is now accepting applications for an overnight security officer. We are looking for a highly motivated and professional applicant to undertake the surveillance of one of our sites protecting staff, visitors, and property. You will be responsible for detecting any suspicious behavior and preventing vandalism, thefts or other criminal behavior. The ideal candidate possess good communication and observation skills. The goal is to help the company in maintaining excellent working conditions by keeping our facilities safe and secure. Responsibilities Patrol premises regularly to maintain order and establish presence. Monitor and authorize entrance of vehicles or people in the property Escort unwanted persons or trespassers from the area Secure all exits, doors and windows after end of operations Investigate suspicious activity and make appropriate next step decisions Respond to and investigate alarms Provide assistance to people in need Submit reports of daily surveillance activity and important occurrences No prior security experience needed, but must possess excellent communication and conflict resolution skills.
