Compensation:

$15.00 per hour

Position Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and observant Night Watchman to help ensure the safety and security of our Bayou La Batre training facility. This is an overnight position that requires routine patrols, a consistent presence in the main office, and respectful interaction with students.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain a continuous presence in the main office during assigned shifts (9:00 PM to 5:00 AM). Conduct hourly patrols of the facility and surrounding grounds to ensure all areas remain secure and in good order. Monitor student activity to ensure compliance with facility rules and policies. Gently and respectfully remind students of behavioral expectations and facility regulations as needed. Document and report any suspicious activity, safety concerns, or rule violations. In the event of destructive behavior, trespassing, or emergencies, promptly contact local law enforcement.

Qualifications:

Previous security or facilities experience preferred but not required. Strong sense of responsibility and attention to detail. Ability to remain alert and professional throughout overnight shifts. Comfortable working independently and interacting respectfully with students and staff. Must be 18 years or older and able to pass a background check.
