The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires a proactive approach to loss prevention, effective surveillance techniques, and the ability to manage conflicts professionally. The Security Officer will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety of premises through monitoring, patrolling, and responding to incidents. Duties Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to maintain security of premises. Conduct regular patrols of the property to deter theft, vandalism, and other illegal activities. Utilize CCTV systems to monitor activities within designated areas and report any suspicious behavior. Respond promptly to alarms or incidents, including potential conflicts or emergencies. Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft and ensure compliance with safety regulations. Provide first aid and CPR assistance when necessary, ensuring the health and safety of individuals on-site. Maintain accurate logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations for reporting purposes. Collaborate with law enforcement when required during investigations or emergencies. Experience Previous experience in security or law enforcement is preferred but not mandatory. Familiarity with surveillance equipment such as CCTV is advantageous. Skills in conflict management are essential for handling difficult situations effectively. Certification in CPR and First Aid is highly desirable. A background in militarized security operations is a plus but not required. Candidates should demonstrate strong observational skills and attention to detail.
