Position Summary:

Responsible for daily cybersecurity operations, IT, and security-related project management and budget management. This position works in conjunction with the cybersecurity team and reports to the Cybersecurity Assistant Manager supporting audits and other cybersecurity related tasks in an automotive manufacturing
environment.

Essential Functions:

Perform daily cybersecurity operations, including permission requests, monitoring, and incident response.
Manage IT and security-related projects, ensuring timely execution and alignment with business objectives.
Assist with the management of security tools such as firewalls, infrastructure, IPS, IDS, review report logs, test security measures, and work with security teams and business units to achieve security information and security objectives for HMMA.
Identify root cause of IT and security issues, implement solutions, and develop preventive measures to mitigate similar future incidents.
Collaborate with IT security operations, infrastructure, production, and business units to deploy and enforce information and security measures across HMMA and affiliates.
Conduct security assessments and reviews for IT infrastructure, applications, and new implementations.
Assist in budget planning and cost management for IT and cybersecurity initiatives.
Conduct security awareness training and provide guidance on best practices.
Maintain documentation of IT and security processes, policies, and procedures.
Administer, coordinate, and comply with all Business Management System (BMS), Environmental Management System (EMS), and Safety Management System (SMS) requirements.
Meet all other requirements as assigned.

Position Requirements:
Education:

Bachelor’s Degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science or
equivalent preferred

Related Experience:

0 – 10 years job related experience preferred
3+ years of experience in IT administration, network, or 1+ year cybersecurity
Experience in project management and coordinating IT/security initiatives
Hands-on experience with SIEM, endpoint/network/cloud/ infrastructure security solutions preferred
Helpdesk experience or experience in security solution operations or network operations preferred
Training /

Certification:

CompTIA Security+, CEH, CISSP (Associate) or ITIL
ISO27001 auditor certification is a plus
Skills /

Knowledge:

Basic understanding of IT infrastructure, networking, and security frameworks
Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Exhibit a willingness to learn

Additional Information:

Position may require occasional travel (domestic or foreign). Flexibility in working hours to include weekends, holidays, and off shift. Position may require on-call duty or overtime due to overall responsibility.
