Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Armed Guard to join our security team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and their properties. This role requires a strong background in law enforcement or military service, with a focus on conflict management and surveillance. The Armed Guard will be in plain clothing and utilize security measures like physical presence, to deter criminal activity and respond effectively to incidents.

Contract:

June 16th- June 27th. ; 9 hour shifts (5am-2pm, 2pm-11pm) Responsibilities Patrol designated areas to monitor for suspicious activity or unauthorized individuals. Conduct thorough inspections of property and personnel to ensure compliance with security protocols. Manage conflicts in a calm and professional manner, de-escalating situations as needed. Maintain accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and observations for reporting purposes. Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies when necessary to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Requirements Previous experience in law enforcement or military service is preferred. Strong knowledge of conflict management techniques and loss prevention strategies. Valid armed security guard certification (CSO) is required; additional certifications in CPR and First Aid are advantageous. Excellent observational skills with the ability to remain alert during long shifts. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective reporting and collaboration with team members. Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as needed. Must pass background checks as mandated by state regulations for armed security personnel.
