Security:

Daily Security Operations:
Actively participate in the daily implementation of physical security measures, ensuring adherence to museum standards while demonstrating professionalism and exceptional customer service. +
Incident Investigation:
Conduct thorough investigations of incidents involving injuries to visitors or staff, as well as any loss or damage to artwork or museum property. +
Patrolling Duties:
Monitor assigned areas to detect and prevent vandalism, mechanical issues, fire hazards, and theft. +
Emergency Response:
Respond promptly and effectively to emergency situations, including disasters or security breaches, in accordance with established protocols.
Systems:
+ Assist in planning, monitoring, and controlling electronic security systems to ensure optimal performance and coverage. + Maintain accurate records including visitor logs, property passes, and volunteer check-ins. + Conduct inspections of incoming and outgoing packages and monitor building access to maintain a secure environment.
Acting supervisor:
+ In the absence of the Building Maintenance & Security Supervisor, and as assigned, supervises all security personnel and OPS staff during events scheduled outside of normal business hours. + Assists with conducting security training for all new security staff. + Provides timely and accurate information to management on unusual conditions or situations within the museum.
Other:
+ Provides security desk coverage as needed or assigned. + Assist with set up and break down of equipment, chairs, and tables for Harn activities. + Provides security escorts, as assigned. + Assist with monitoring of climate controls.
Expected Salary:
$17.64 per hour
Required Qualifications:
+ High school diploma + One year of relevant experience
