Secret Security Clearance Job Description:

Security Operations & Solutions is seeking a Security Officer that can demonstrate the ability to work as a member of a team in support of the Space Program in Cape Canaveral Florida. The successful candidate will be assigned at Cape Canaveral SFS granting entry into facilities and patrolling areas. Security Operations & Solutions is a Drug Free Workplace.

B9800160 RESPONSIBILITIES

Entry Control duties on static guard posts within a Security Entry Control Building Verify and control Visitor entry into facilities/areas Conduct vehicle patrols of assigned area of responsibility Conduct vehicle escorts on CCSFS Complete written reports/logs

BASIC QUALITIFICATIONS

Current DOD Secret Clearance State of Florida Class D Security License High School diploma or GED 1-year security officer experience Must be at least 18 years of age Valid Driver License Must be able to clearly speak, read and write English

PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Aptitude to work as a member of a team Uncompromising integrity and character Excellent oral and written skills Experience in working within the Space Program Ability to work any shift (days, afternoons, nights) and any day during the week Must possess the ability to handle crisis situations at the client site, calmly and efficiently. Some computer experience is a necessity
