Job Description Allied Universal Services is seeking the position of an ArmedSecurity Shift Supervisor. The Armed Security Shift Supervisor willsupervise and coordinate the delivery of quality services on aspecific shift at an assigned customer. An Armed Security ShiftSupervisor acts as a liaison between site supervisor, AccountManager/Field Operations Manager and professional securityofficers. They supervise staff on assigned shift, providingcoaching, recognition and discipline within approved empowermentrange.

experience MUST have ACTIVE Florida D & G License Be at least 21 years of age with high school diploma orequivalent Possess effective written and oral communication andinterpersonal skills with ability to deal with all levels ofpersonnel and the general public in a professional and effectivemanner Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local lawsand regulations and may be required prior to employment. As a condition of employment, employee must successfullycomplete a background investigation and a drug screen in accordancewith all federal, state, and local laws Display exceptional customer service and communicationskills Have intermediate computer skills to operate innovative,wireless technology at client specific sites Ability to handle crisis situations at the client site, calmlyand efficiently Communicate staffing needs on shift to Account Manager orOperations Manager Assure that officers receive appropriate training, developingthem in both technical and professional skills Assure that employee grievances are heard with help fromappropriate district or region HR support employees and Account orOperations Manager Administer JSA’s and safety programs outlining site-specifichazards for professional security officers on assigned shiftincluding vehicle/driving safety as appropriate to Corporateprocedures Assist Account or Operations Manager to manage uniforms,equipment, supplies and vehicles utilized at the account,maintaining appropriate inventories and maintenance checklists Able to: Work in various environments such as cold weather, rain/snow orheat Occasionally lift or carry up to 40 pounds Climb stairs, ramps, or ladders occasionally during shift Stand or walk on various surfaces for long periods of time Closing Allied Universal is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
