Job Summary:

We are currently seeking a dedicated Security Officer (Florida D-License Required) to join our team. The position entails working overnight shifts on various nights throughout the week and weekend, for a total of 32 hours per week. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for patrolling and monitoring premises to ensure a safe and secure environment.

Duties:

• Regularly patrol and monitor premises to deter unauthorized access or criminal activities
• Act as a visible deterrent to maintain security
• Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, taking appropriate action as required
• Conduct thorough investigations of suspicious activities or incidents
• Monitor and control access points, allowing only authorized individuals entry
• Provide exceptional customer service by assisting visitors and addressing inquiries or concerns
• Generate detailed reports on incidents, observations, and relevant information
• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a security officer or in a related field
• Strong conflict management skills for handling challenging situations professionally
• Preferred certification in first aid and CPR (Optional)
• Familiarity with law enforcement procedures and regulations
• Ability to assess situations quickly, make informed decisions, and take appropriate actions
