Overnight Security Officer Sea ranch Club C 4900 North Ocean Boulevard, Lauderdale-by-the-Sea, FL 33308 One (1) security officer needed: We are looking for one (1) professional security guard to protect our premises, assets and personnel for one (1) open position.11:00PM to 7:00AM – forty (40) hours ; Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. You will maintain a high visibility presence, prevent inappropriate actions and assist residents for a luxury condominium. - Monitor the company’s property and maintain a safe and secure environment
- Watch for signs of crime or disorder; investigate disturbances
- Act lawfully at all times in direct defense of life or property
- Act as a consistent presence to deter criminals
- Report any suspicious/unusual occurrences to authorities and management
- Patrol premises randomly and regularly, including buildings and perimeter
- Monitor and control access to building entrances and vehicle gates
- Monitor alarm systems and video cameras
- Perform first-aid or CPR if needed Requirements;
- High school degree or equivalent . Spanish speaking a plus, but not a requirement.
- Work experience as a security guard or other relevant position
- Basic computer skills necessary for reporting and communications
- Ability to operate detecting systems and emergency equipment
- Extensive working knowledge of public safety and security procedures/protocols
- Willingness to comply with all laws and institutional regulations at all times
- Keen surveillance skills and detail orientation
- Integrity, professionalism, and character beyond reproach
