- Tamarac, Florida Metro South Protective Service and Investigations is actively seeking qualified candidates for the position of School Resource Officer.
This critical role is focused on maintaining a safe and secure environment for students, staff, and school facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain a visible presence on campus to deter and respond to incidents. Collaborate with school administrators to develop and implement safety protocols. Conduct investigations into incidents occurring on school property. Serve as a liaison between the school and local law enforcement agencies.
Qualifications :
- State of Florida Security Licenses D & G
- required.
CPR Certification; Basic Life Support (BLS) is a plus. Must be fluent in English, with strong communication skills. Computer literate, with basic knowledge of technology and reporting tools. Able and willing to work in various weather conditions. Physically able to stand for extended periods.
