Security Guard South Florida Bible College & Theological Seminary, Inc. 2200 SW 10th Street, Deerfield Beach, FL 33442 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our students, staff, and visitors. This role requires a proactive approach to security, ensuring that all safety protocols are followed while providing excellent customer service. Duties Monitor and patrol assigned areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or unauthorized activity. Respond promptly to alarms and emergency situations, taking appropriate action as necessary. Conduct regular inspections of premises, including checking doors, windows, and security systems. Utilize CCTV and surveillance equipment to monitor activities and maintain records of incidents. Enforce rules and regulations to ensure the safety of all individuals on the property. Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary to report incidents or suspicious activities. Document daily activities, incidents, and any unusual occurrences in a detailed report. Skills Possession of a valid security certificate is preferred. Strong conflict management skills to effectively handle difficult situations. Familiarity with law enforcement practices is an advantage. Excellent observational skills with attention to detail to identify potential security risks.
