Security Guard Estate Advisor Tamarac, FL 33321 Job Overview We are seeking a vigilant and dedicated Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires strong observational skills, the ability to respond effectively to emergencies, and a commitment to upholding safety protocols. Duties Monitor premises through regular patrols and surveillance systems, including CCTV. Enforce security policies and procedures to prevent unauthorized access. Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, providing first aid and CPR when necessary. Conduct thorough inspections of buildings, grounds, and equipment to identify potential security risks. Manage conflicts effectively using conflict management techniques. Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when required during incidents or investigations. Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying suspicious behavior or activities. Prepare detailed reports on daily activities, incidents, and observations. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; additional security training or certification is preferred. Proven experience in security, law enforcement, or military service is an advantage. Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable. Strong understanding of surveillance techniques and loss prevention strategies. Excellent conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
