Fort Lauderdale Job Description :
As a Security Rover at our juvenile detention center, your primary role will be to ensure the safety and security of the facility and its residents. Your main duties will involve patrolling the area, monitoring activities, and responding to incidents.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct regular perimeter patrols to maintain a visible security presence. Promptly respond to alarms and incidents, offering assistance when needed. Enforce center rules and regulations while remaining courteous and professional. Prepare detailed incident reports to communicate findings to the security management team. Observe and report on Javelin conduct.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in security or a related field is an advantage but not mandatory. Possession of a Class D Security License is required. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, excellent communication, and customer service abilities. Capability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
