The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires a proactive approach to security, excellent observational skills, and the ability to respond effectively to various situations. The Security Officer will engage in surveillance activities, enforce rules and regulations, and provide assistance during emergencies. Duties Monitor premises through CCTV systems and conduct regular patrols to ensure safety. Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft and damage. Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, assessing situations and taking appropriate action. Provide first aid assistance when necessary and maintain CPR certification. Manage conflicts effectively, utilizing conflict management skills to de-escalate situations. Prepare detailed reports on incidents, observations, and activities during shifts. Collaborate with law enforcement agencies as needed for investigations or emergencies. Maintain surveillance of designated areas to prevent unauthorized access or suspicious behavior. Qualifications Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or military service is preferred. Knowledge of CCTV systems and surveillance techniques is essential. Certification in first aid and CPR is highly desirable. Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure. Excellent observational skills with attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Must possess a valid security officer certificate or be willing to obtain one. Physical fitness is required for patrolling and responding quickly to incidents.
