The Security Professional will conduct unarmed foot and/or vehicle patrol (interior and/or exterior). Additional duties include control access; compose reports; deter criminal activity and misconduct. Due to the safety sensitive nature of this role, qualified candidates must be able to submit to drug screening to the extent permissible by law. Now Hiring!!!

21+ Years of Age Security Experience

• AU Driver Policy Requirements CPR Certification

RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform security patrols of grounds on foot or in vehicle; document detailed observations of unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards
Assist staff with de-escalation of situations involving customers and or Employees
Assist with evacuations during fires, medical emergencies, and natural disasters
Sound alarms or call police or fire department in case of fire or presence of unauthorized persons
Warn violators of rule infractions, such as loitering, smoking, or carrying forbidden articles
Observe departing personnel to protect against theft of company property and ensures that authorized removal of property is conducted within appropriate client requirements
Investigate and prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities; maintain written logs as required

QUALIFICATIONS

(MUST HAVE): High school diploma or equivalent
Current driver’s license if driving a company

• or customer-owned vehicle
  Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
  Must be at least 21 years of age, or higher if required by the state
  Able to operate radio or telephone equipment and/or console monitors
  Demonstrated ability to interact cordially and communicate with the public
  Effective oral and written communication skills
  Problem solving skills

  Ability to assess and evaluate situations effectively; identify critical issues quickly and accurately

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
