Flex Security Officer Defense Security International Group Naples, FL Overview We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Flex Officer to join our security team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining safety and security across various locations. This position requires a proactive approach to conflict management, surveillance, and loss prevention, ensuring a secure environment for all personnel and visitors. We are looking for flex officer that will be trained in multiple locations- to cover open shifts, conduct patrols in a patrol vehicle and cover upcoming events. We have both armed and unarmed positions. This is a perfect position if you are looking for extra income. Duties Monitor premises to ensure safety and security. Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas to deter and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity. Respond promptly to incidents, utilizing conflict management skills to de-escalate situations. Provide first aid and ensure the well-being of individuals on-site. Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary, maintaining clear communication and reporting protocols. Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft and ensure the protection of assets. Maintain accurate logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations for record-keeping purposes. Participate in training sessions to stay updated on security protocols and best practices. Qualifications Proven experience in security, law enforcement, or related fields is preferred. Having a class D security license is required. Certification in First Aid and CPR is a plus. Strong conflict management skills with the ability to handle challenging situations calmly and effectively. Knowledge of loss prevention strategies and techniques is advantageous. Excellent observational skills with attention to detail. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective reporting and collaboration.
