Security Supervisor Defense Security International Group Naples, FL 34114 Overview The Security Supervisor plays a critical role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for employees, visitors, and assets. This position involves overseeing security personnel, implementing security protocols, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of security operations. Duties Supervise and coordinate the activities of security staff to ensure effective coverage and response to incidents. Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and protocols to enhance safety measures. Conduct regular inspections of the premises to identify vulnerabilities and enforce loss prevention strategies. Manage surveillance systems, including CCTV operations, to monitor activities and respond to potential threats. Train security personnel in conflict management techniques, first aid, CPR, and emergency response procedures. Collaborate with law enforcement agencies as necessary to address security concerns or incidents. Prepare detailed reports on security incidents, investigations, and daily activities for management review. Skills Strong knowledge of loss prevention strategies and techniques. Proficient in conflict management with the ability to de-escalate tense situations effectively. Certification in first aid and CPR is highly desirable. Experience in military or law enforcement roles is a plus. Familiarity with surveillance systems, including CCTV operations. Possession of relevant certifications related to security management is advantageous. Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead a team effectively.
