Armed Security Supervisor Divinity TGL Protection Jacksonville, FL 32244 Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Security Supervisor to oversee our security team and ensure the safety and security of our facilities. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to manage conflict effectively. This role requires proficiency in surveillance techniques, loss prevention strategies, and emergency response protocols. Duties Supervise and coordinate the activities of security personnel to ensure compliance with established policies and procedures. Conduct regular patrols of the premises to ensure a secure environment for employees and visitors. Respond to and manage emergency situations, including potential threats. Train and mentor security staff in conflict management techniques and emergency response procedures. Prepare incident reports and maintain accurate records of security activities. Liaise with law enforcement and emergency responders when necessary. Ensure proper handling, maintenance, and accountability of firearms and security equipment Qualifications Must be at least 21 years old High school diploma or GED Valid Class “D” Security License Valid Class “G” License Minimum 2-3 years of experience in security, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills Ability to pass a background check and drug screening Must be able to stand, sit, and patrol for extended periods Ability to remain calm under pressure and effectively manage conflicts as they arise. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with diverse groups.
