You will be responsible for detecting any suspicious behavior and preventing vandalism, theft or other criminal behavior. The ideal candidate will inspire respect and authority and possess a high level of observation. The goal is to help the company maintain excellent working conditions by keeping our facilities safe and problem-free. (Company Benefits included) Responsibilities Patrol premises regularly to maintain order and establish a presence Monitor and authorize entrance of vehicles or people in the property Call law enforcement to remove wrongdoers or trespassers from the area Check surveillance cameras periodically to identify disruptions or unlawful acts Investigate people for suspicious activity or possessions Respond to alarms by investigating and assessing the situation Assist people in need Submit reports of daily surveillance activity and important occurrences Must be able to submit your daily report electrically from the phones Available shifts 530 pm-11 pm, 12 am-7:30 am, & 330 pm-12 am Skills Proven experience as a security officer or guard Knowledge of legal guidelines for area security and public safety Familiarity with report writing Excellent surveillance and observation skills Tech-savvy with experience in CCTV monitoring Trained in First Aid/BLS provided by the company Registered as a security officer for the State of Florida with a Class D License A high School diploma is required
