Full Job Description Responsibilities:

• Patrol and monitor premises regularly to maintain a safe and secure environment.
• Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances on the premises.
• Conduct security checks of personnel, vehicles, and bags as necessary (Depending on the post).
• Enforce access control procedures and verify the identity of individuals entering or exiting the premises.
• Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors or resident and addressing their inquiries or concerns.
• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies in emergency situations or when required
• Write detailed incident reports and maintain accurate records of security-related activities

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Security Officer or similar role is preferred and must possess a Florida Class D License (and be current or have your blue card). Florida G license is optional for most post.
• Knowledge of CCTV systems, access control, and other security equipment.
• Strong conflict management skills to handle difficult situations calmly and professionally.
• Ability to perform surveillance and maintain a high level of alertness at all times.
• Possession of relevant certifications such as CPR, First Aid, or other security related training.
• Familiarity with loss prevention techniques and procedures is desirable.
• Prior military or law enforcement experience is highly valued.
