As a Security Officer – Media Patrol in Tampa, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more . As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a leading tech and media environment, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, remaining visible to help to deter security-related incidents and provide a welcoming presence. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, assisting with access control, and delivering outstanding customer service through clear communication. You will be part of a team that values agility, reliability, and innovation, always putting people first and acting with integrity. This role requires comfort with technology as you may use computers or tablets during your shift.

PM Responsibilities:

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, helping to deter unwanted activity and observing for any unusual conditions.
Document and report any security-related incidents or concerns according to site protocols.
Assist with access control and monitor entry and exit points to help maintain a secure environment.
Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and vendors while upholding site policies and procedures.
Remain alert to changes in the environment and report any potential risks or hazards to the appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
Florida Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
