• Utilities Patrol in Gibsonton, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities and more .

As an unarmed patrol officer in a utilities location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining visible to help to deter security-related incidents and provide exceptional customer service. This position requires driving as part of your patrol duties. You will interact with staff and visitors, respond to incidents, and use technology such as computers or tablets to document activities. Our team values reliability, teamwork, and integrity, and you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment through your presence and communication skills.

PM Responsibilities:

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the utility location and its perimeter, adapting to varying working environments and conditions as required by the site.
Help to deter unauthorized activity through visible presence and attentive patrolling.
Observe and report any unusual activity or potential hazards encountered during patrols.

Minimum Requirements:

A valid driver’s license is required for positions that involve driving, in accordance with AU Driver Policy requirements.
Florida Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
An armed guard card or license is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.
Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or have 5 years of verifiable experience.
Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws as a condition of employment.

Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law as a condition of employment.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
