It is imperative that they adhere strictly to all standard operating procedures (SOPs) and policies established by the organization. This includes arriving at work in the appropriate uniform, properly groomed, and presenting a professional appearance. Armed security personnel must also demonstrate respect and courtesy when interacting with clients, colleagues, and the general public. Additionally, they should possess the skills necessary to operate various vehicles and equipment, including motor vehicles, golf carts, or all-terrain vehicles (ATVs), depending on the needs of the position. Maintaining an active “D” Security Officer license and a “G” Statewide Firearms license issued by the Department of Agriculture is a mandatory requirement for this role. These credentials must be kept current to ensure compliance with state regulations and to meet the standards of the employer.
