Join forces with a company that supports, motivates and appreciates its people. We are currently seeking a part time pool patrol officer to work 15 hours a week, mainly weekends and holidays. All qualified candidates must possess a valid Class D Florida Guard License at time of hire. The ideal candidate for the Officer position exemplifies strong customer interaction skills with the ability to communicate respectfully and effectively, the willingness to follow instructions and the desire to make a positive difference while on duty. Scheduled Hrs- Tues-Fri 12pm-5pm, Sat-Sun 10am-7pm and off on Monday Duties include, but are not limited to: Foot patrol of interior and exterior areas of assigned locations Observe and report suspicious activities and persons Write detailed narrative reports and maintain daily activity reports (DARs) Enforce client and company rules, regulations, policies, procedures, and respond to emergency situations requiring security assistance Position Requirements Skills Required Ability to operate radio or telephone equipment and/or console monitors Ability to interact cordially and communicate with the public Effective oral and written communication skills Active listening skills Ability to assess and evaluate situations effectively Ability to identify critical issues quickly and accurately Attention to detail Other Must be at least 18 years old or the minimum age required by the State Must be a U.S. citizen or a foreign citizen authorized to legally work in the United States Must have access to reliable transportation Must not use illegal drugs. Must be able to pass a drug test with negative results (except when undergoing documented medical treatment). Must submit to an extensive background check, including criminal history, personal references, employment and education verifications, and Department of Motor Vehicle and credit checks if applicable Must be able to provide, upon job offer, a DD214 discharge document with discharge status indicated, if prior military

Physical Requirements and EnvironmentEnvironment:

Indoor and outdoor, temperature ranges from moderate to extreme cold and heat Major activity: Walking, standing, speaking, listening, observing physical efforts to carry out job duties: Standing, walking, and sitting. Minimal to no stooping or kneeling. Must be ready to start ASAP!
