School Security Guardian ICU Protective Services Clermont, FL 34711 Overview We are seeking dedicated and vigilant School Security Officers to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our schools, staff and visitors. This position requires being a certified safe school guardian or willing to attend 144 hrs of training to obtain the guardian cerification. Responsibilities Monitor and patrol assigned areas to prevent theft, vandalism, and other security breaches. Respond promptly to alarms and emergencies, ensuring the safety of all individuals on the premises. Enforce rules and regulations while maintaining a professional demeanor. Collaborate with law enforcement as necessary during incidents or investigations. Provide first aid and CPR assistance when required. Document incidents and prepare reports for management review. Participate in training sessions related to FDLE standards for safe school guardians. Skills Possession of a valid Florida security license. Strong conflict management skills to handle difficult situations calmly and effectively. Background in law enforcement or military service is advantageous. Knowledge of first aid and CPR practices is essential. Excellent observational skills with attention to detail.
