We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires a proactive approach to loss prevention, surveillance, and conflict management. The Security Officer will monitor premises, conduct regular patrols, and respond to incidents as necessary. Duties Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to maintain security of the premises. Conduct regular patrols of the property to deter and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity. Utilize system to monitor activities within the facility and report any irregularities. Respond promptly to community residents and emergency situations, Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary to ensure safety protocols are followed. Document incidents and prepare reports on security-related matters for management review. Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft or damage to property. Maintain a professional demeanor while managing conflicts or disturbances effectively. Skills Proven experience in security or law enforcement is preferred. Certification in loss prevention is a plus. Proficient in surveillance techniques. Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Military experience is advantageous but not required.
