Full Job Description Position Summary:

We are seeking a vigilant, courteous, and professional Overnight Gatehouse Security Officer to join our team at a high-end residential condominium. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for residents, guests, and vendors during overnight hours, ensuring controlled access, safety, and exceptional service at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

Access Control:

Monitor and control entrance and exit points for residents, visitors, deliveries, and service providers through the gatehouse.

Resident & Guest Verification:

Verify resident identification and confirm guest authorization through resident databases or guest lists.

Vehicle Logging:

Maintain accurate logs of incoming/outgoing vehicles, including visitor and vendor entries.

Patrol Support:

Coordinate with rover or on-site security to ensure perimeter and property patrols are conducted consistently.

Emergency Response:

Act promptly and professionally in case of emergencies, following property-specific protocols and notifying emergency services or management when needed.

Customer Service:

Provide friendly and helpful assistance to residents and guests while maintaining a firm stance on policy enforcement.

Incident Reporting:

Document and report all suspicious activities, security breaches, or incidents during the shift.

Gatehouse Cleanliness & Organization:

Ensure the gatehouse is kept clean, organized, and presentable at all times.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent Valid Florida Class D Security License Minimum 1 year of experience in residential or commercial security (luxury environment preferred) Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong attention to detail and situational awareness Ability to remain alert and focused during overnight shifts Proficient in using basic security technology (gates, visitor management systems, radio communication)

Working Conditions:
