Position Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Port Agent Security Supervisor to join our team and train for a supervisory position . The agent will support and oversee day-to-day port security activities and communicate regularly with hotels, cruise lines, and hospitals to coordinate any port-related security or logistical issues. This role is strictly security-based and not related to guest-facing terminal or transportation coordination . Applicants must have relevant port experience and be capable of stepping into a leadership role. Minimum 2 years of port or maritime security experience is required Position includes duties at both

Port Miami and Port Everglades Key Responsibilities:

Provide on-site security oversight across both Port Miami and Port Everglades Supervise and assist field officers on shift, ensuring protocol compliance Maintain consistent communication with cruise lines, hotels, and hospitals regarding security procedures, crew logistics, or emergency response issues Monitor access points, badge enforcement, and credential compliance (TWIC, Port

ID, HACK

) Respond to and document security breaches, medical situations, and port-related incidents Perform regular patrols, inspections, and personnel checks Train, coach, and assist onboarding of new security staff Maintain daily activity logs and submit reports to operations managers Coordinate with U.S. Customs and Border Protection, port authority officials, and company leadership on all high-level matters Ensure that all officers are in proper uniform and following safety protocols Remain available for emergency call-ins and operational support as needed

Required Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years of verified experience in port, maritime, or terminal security 1+ year of supervisory, team leadership, or FTO experience Fluent in English and Spanish Valid Florida Class D Security License Valid Florida Driver’s License (clean record required) Must have or be eligible to obtain: TWIC Card (Transportation Worker Identification Credential) HACK Licenses for both Miami-Dade and Broward counties MDAD Airport ID Badge (if required by assigned location) Ability to stand for long periods, patrol secure zones, and work in varied weather Strong written communication and reporting skills Computer proficiency (Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel)

Preferred Experience:

Prior security coordination with hospitals, cruise staff, or maritime vendors Familiarity with CBP credentialing processes and emergency response systems CPR, First Aid, or basic incident response certification (a plus)

Work Schedule & Conditions:

8-10 hour shifts 5-6 days per week, including weekends and holidays Flexible shifts: morning, day, or night Must be available for emergency response Field-based environment at secure port facilities (indoor/outdoor patrols)

Compensation & Benefits:

Hourly Pay:

$20.00 – $22.00 (based on experience and qualifications)
