The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our students and employees. This role requires strong observational skills, the ability to respond effectively to emergencies, and a commitment to upholding security protocols. The Security Guard will play a crucial role in loss prevention and ensuring compliance with established safety regulations. Responsibilities Monitor premises through regular patrols and surveillance systems (CCTV) to detect and prevent any unauthorized activities. Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, ensuring appropriate action is taken. Enforce rules and regulations to maintain order and safety within the facility. Conduct thorough inspections of property and equipment to identify potential security risks. Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary, providing detailed reports on incidents or suspicious activities. Provide first aid and CPR assistance as needed during emergencies. Manage conflicts effectively using conflict management techniques to de-escalate situations. Maintain accurate logs of daily activities, incidents, and any unusual occurrences. Experience Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or military service is preferred but not mandatory. Familiarity with loss prevention strategies and surveillance techniques is advantageous. Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable; additional training in conflict management is a plus. Strong observational skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with team members and the public.
