Security Officer Regatta Grove Coconut Grove, FL 33133 Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This position requires strong observational skills, the ability to respond effectively to various situations, and a commitment to upholding safety protocols. Duties Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure the safety and security of premises. Operate and monitor CCTV systems to detect suspicious activities. Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, conducting investigations as necessary. Enforce rules and regulations to maintain order within the facility. Provide assistance during emergencies, including administering first aid and CPR when required. Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency services as needed. Document incidents, prepare reports, and maintain accurate records of daily activities. Conduct loss prevention measures to minimize theft or damage to property. Manage conflicts effectively while ensuring the safety of all individuals involved. Requirements Previous experience in law enforcement or military service is preferred but not mandatory. Familiarity with loss prevention strategies and surveillance techniques is advantageous. Certification in CPR and First Aid is highly desirable. Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure. Excellent observational skills with attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Must be physically fit and able to stand for extended periods while patrolling premises. A valid security officer certification may be required depending on state regulations.
