Security Screener for TSA (FedEx Screening Staff) at Miami International AirportWe are currently seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Security Screeners for the Federal Express (FedEx) screening staff at Miami International Airport.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough security screenings on individuals, baggage, and cargo using specialized equipment and procedures in accordance with TSA guidelines
• Monitor X-ray machines, metal detectors, and other screening equipment to identify potential security threats
• Conduct physical inspections and pat-down searches when necessary
• Communicate and collaborate effectively with fellow team members to ensure smooth operations and maintain a high level of security
• Stay updated on the latest TSA regulations and procedures to ensure compliance
• Report any suspicious activities or items to the appropriate authorities.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification
• Prior experience in security or screening procedures preferred but not essential
• Knowledge of TSA rules and regulations is a plus
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations
