We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Director of Security to oversee all safety and security operations at Hyatt Regency Orlando. This leadership role is responsible for ensuring a safe environment for guests, colleagues, and visitors by managing emergency responses, training the security team, enforcing safety policies, and maintaining detailed incident records. The ideal candidate is proactive, composed under pressure, and skilled in both communication and guest service.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the daily operations of the hotel’s Security Department, ensuring the safety and security of all guests, employees, and property. Respond promptly and effectively to all guest and employee incidents, emergencies, or disturbances. Lead investigations and ensure the proper documentation of all security-related incidents through comprehensive incident reports. Supervise, train, and schedule the security team, ensuring a professional and alert presence throughout the property. Coordinate with hotel departments, law enforcement, and emergency response teams as needed. Conduct regular safety audits, drills, and inspections in accordance with company standards and legal regulations. Ensure compliance with hotel policies, fire codes, OSHA standards, and other applicable safety laws and procedures. Serve as a visible and approachable point of contact for guests and staff on safety and security matters. Qualifications Requirements:

Leadership experience in hotel, resort, or property security. Strong understanding of safety protocols, emergency response procedures, and incident reporting. Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills. Ability to remain calm, professional, and effective in high-stress situations. Proficient in report writing, security systems, and surveillance tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in a high-traffic hospitality environment, such as a convention hotel or large resort. Proven customer service experience and a guest-first attitude. CPR, First Aid, and AED certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
