The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. As a Security Guard, you will play a crucial role in preventing theft, vandalism, and other criminal activities while ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Responsibilities Monitor and patrol assigned areas to deter and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity. Respond promptly to alarms and emergencies, assessing situations and taking appropriate action. Enforce rules and regulations to maintain order and ensure the safety of individuals on the premises. Conduct regular inspections of buildings, grounds, and equipment to identify potential security risks. Prepare detailed reports on incidents, accidents, or security breaches for management review. Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary to provide assistance during investigations. Utilize conflict management skills to de-escalate potentially volatile situations effectively. Qualifications Previous experience as security personnel is preferred but not required. Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable. Familiarity with loss prevention techniques is an asset. Strong observational skills with the ability to remain alert and focused at all times. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with diverse individuals. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in high-pressure situations. A valid security guard license or certification preferred, but not required.
