The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of personnel, property, and assets. This role requires a strong sense of responsibility, excellent observational skills, and the ability to respond effectively in emergency situations. The Armed Guard will work in various environments, utilizing surveillance techniques and conflict management skills to maintain a secure atmosphere. Duties Monitor premises through regular patrols and surveillance systems to detect and prevent unauthorized activities. Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, or emergencies, taking appropriate action as necessary. Utilize CCTV systems for real-time monitoring and documentation of incidents. Enforce company policies and procedures while maintaining a professional demeanor at all times. Provide first aid and CPR assistance when required, ensuring the safety of individuals on-site. Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary to report incidents or suspicious activities. Conduct thorough inspections of facilities to identify potential security risks or vulnerabilities. Engage in conflict management strategies to de-escalate tense situations effectively. Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying theft or fraud attempts and reporting them accordingly. Qualifications Proven experience in security roles, preferably as an Armed Guard or in law enforcement settings. Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional training in conflict management is preferred. Familiarity with surveillance equipment, including CCTV systems, is advantageous. Strong observational skills with the ability to remain alert and focused during extended periods of monitoring. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with team members and the public. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in high-pressure situations. A valid armed security license or certificate is mandatory for this position. Prior military or law enforcement experience is a plus but not required.
