The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires a proactive approach to security, strong observational skills, and the ability to respond effectively to various situations. The Security Officer will play a crucial role in preventing loss and ensuring the safety of all individuals on the premises. 8pm to 4am Duties Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security. Conduct regular surveillance using CCTV systems to detect suspicious activities. Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, following established protocols. Manage conflicts effectively by employing conflict management techniques. Provide assistance during emergencies, including administering CPR and first aid as needed. Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary to report incidents or gather information. Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft or damage to property. Maintain accurate logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations. Enforce company policies and procedures while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. Requirements Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or related fields is preferred. Strong conflict management skills with the ability to de-escalate tense situations. Familiarity with surveillance equipment and CCTV operation. CPR certification is required; First Aid certification is a plus. Knowledge of loss prevention techniques and strategies. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Excellent observational skills with attention to detail. Must be physically fit and able to stand for extended periods while performing patrol duties. A background in military service is considered an asset but not mandatory.
