PM Responsibilities:
Provide customer service by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the government facility and its perimeter, adapting to varying working environments and conditions depending on the location.
Assist in helping to deter unauthorized activities through visible presence and adherence to established protocols.
Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to site requirements.
Collaborate with local authorities and emergency responders when necessary.
Maintain a professional demeanor while interacting with the public, staff, and visitors at the government location.
Minimum Requirements:
Must be authorized and able to carry handcuffs, pepper spray, and a sidearm as part of the armed security role.
Must possess an Armed Designation as required by state or local regulations.
A valid driver’s license in the state of employment is required for driving positions.
Must be a graduate of a Law Enforcement or Military Police Training Program, or possess an equivalent qualification.
Must hold a valid Corrections Officer License.
Must hold a valid Law Enforcement Officer License.
Must possess a valid Florida Armed Security Professional License (
FL:
Armed SP Lic).
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
