As an unarmed patrol officer in a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a visible presence. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, providing exceptional customer service, and communicating clearly with staff and visitors. This post requires driving as part of your duties. You will contribute to a positive environment by working collaboratively with your team, demonstrating reliability, agility, and integrity in all interactions.

AM Responsibilities:

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random patrols around the government location and its perimeter, adapting to varying working environments and conditions as required by the site. Observe and report any unusual activity or potential concerns to the appropriate personnel. Assist in helping to deter unauthorized access and maintain order within the assigned area.

Minimum Requirements:

Applicants must possess a valid driver’s license in the state where the job is located if the position requires driving. Candidates must have at least three years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or possess a college degree. Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client. Applicants must be at least 21 years of age. Florida Security Professional Guard Card is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or five years of verifiable experience. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
