The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires strong observational skills, the ability to respond to emergencies, and a commitment to upholding safety protocols. The Security Guard will monitor premises through surveillance systems and patrol assigned areas to deter and detect any suspicious activities. Responsibilities Monitor surveillance systems (CCTV) to identify potential security breaches or suspicious activities. Conduct regular patrols of the premises to ensure safety and security. Respond promptly to alarms and emergency situations, providing first aid when necessary. Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft and damage. Enforce rules and regulations while maintaining a professional demeanor. Prepare detailed reports on incidents, observations, and activities during shifts. Collaborate with law enforcement when necessary and assist in investigations as required. Manage conflicts effectively using conflict management skills to de-escalate situations. Experience Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or military service is preferred. Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable. Familiarity with loss prevention techniques and surveillance equipment is an asset. Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
