The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires strong observational skills, the ability to respond effectively to incidents, and a commitment to upholding security protocols. Responsibilities Monitor and patrol assigned areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activities. Operate and maintain CCTV systems to ensure continuous surveillance of premises. Respond promptly to alarms and emergency situations, providing first aid or CPR as needed. Conduct thorough inspections of buildings, grounds, and equipment to ensure safety compliance. Manage conflict situations effectively, utilizing conflict management skills to de-escalate potential issues. Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary and provide detailed reports on incidents. Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft and ensure the protection of assets. Maintain accurate logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations for record-keeping purposes. Qualifications Previous experience in security or law enforcement is preferred. Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable. Familiarity with surveillance equipment and CCTV operation is essential. Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure. Excellent observational skills with attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. A military background or training is a plus but not required.
