The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and their properties. This role requires a strong sense of responsibility, excellent observational skills, and the ability to respond effectively to various situations. The Armed Security Officer will utilize their training in law enforcement and conflict management to ensure the safety of individuals and property. Responsibilities Monitor and patrol assigned areas to deter and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity. Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, ensuring appropriate action is taken. Conduct thorough surveillance using CCTV systems to monitor activities within designated premises. Enforce rules and regulations while maintaining a professional demeanor at all times. Provide assistance in conflict management situations, utilizing de-escalation techniques when necessary. Prepare detailed reports on incidents, observations, and activities during shifts. Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies when required for investigations or emergencies. Conduct regular inspections of security equipment and ensure proper functioning of all security systems. Provide first aid and CPR as needed during emergencies, ensuring the health and safety of individuals on-site. Experience Candidates should possess the following skills and qualifications: Previous experience in law enforcement or security roles is preferred. Strong knowledge of loss prevention techniques and surveillance operations. Familiarity with conflict management strategies and crisis intervention methods. Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable. Ability to operate security equipment, including CCTV systems effectively. Military experience is considered an asset but not mandatory. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with diverse populations.
